Dr. Alex Korb is a neuroscientist, author and personal coach who uses neuroscience to help people reduce stress and worry, and improve mood and motivation. He has studied the brain for over 20 years and is the bestselling author of The Upward Spiral:Using Neuroscience to Reverse the Course of Depression, One Small Change at a Time.
He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA where he teaches undergraduates about the neuroscience of wellbeing. Outside of academia, he is a scientific consultant, writer, speaker, and personal coach. He is also head coach of the UCLA Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team.
