Dr. Dunham maintains a private practice in Santa Monica working with families, couples, and individuals. In addition to her private practice, she is a clinical supervisor and staff therapist at Family Service of Santa Monica, a community based non-profit social service agency.
Dr. Dunham has a wide range of clinical experience with a specialization in childhood trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence prevention and counseling, and 15 years in hospice work and working with children who have experienced the death of a parent. She has also worked in intensive outpatient and residential settings with young adults and as a family therapist.
Dr. Dunham holds a teacher certification from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center and is devoted to the practice of mindful awareness/meditation and teaches patients and students on request. She is a certified trainer/facilitator of The Reflective Parenting Program, an attachment-based reflective approach to parenting. Dr. Dunham is also certified in Trauma-Focused CBT and is certified in California as a Domestic Violence counselor.
